brands online
Internet has appeared as a new way of communication, especially between young people (the ‘millennials’) and the biggest clothing brands have not missed the chance to advertise through it.
The most famous case would be Inditex. People claim that they do not waste a single euro in marketing, that they prefer to attract people using huge storefronts, lowering the prices… But this is false.
It is true that this Spanish brand does not spend their money in TV ads but that does not mean that they do not spend it in marketing. They do, but in a very subtle way.

Contact with ‘influencers’:
Shops such as Zara or Stradivarius have advertised themselves by paying important influencers such as Poppy Delevinge, bloggers or even DJ´s to post in their social media pictures using their clothes. They have an amazing gift to control people´s choices in fashion and Inditex has not missed this big chance.

Presence in social media:
Inditex is probably the company that has more presence in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram… The vast majority of clothes that you see in a photo in those social media are probably from Zara, Oysho, Pull&Bear, Breshka…

Ambassadors:
One of their last strategies has been the signing of Rafa Medina (who belongs to one of the most important families –the Medinaceli- in the Spanish history) to design tailored suits.
